This vintage pair of Nike Cortez Deluxe sneakers is finished in white leather with red Swooshes and red heels stamped “NIKE” in bold capitals, and remains in deadstock condition. The tongues are tagged with the original lowercase cursive Nike logo, reflecting their early production in Japan. The shoes feature thick white and blue midsoles—a major innovation at the time—which, along with the outsoles, have yellowed with age. The outsoles have a herringbone pattern, and the blue Spenco insoles remain intact.

The Cortez was one of Nike’s first running shoes, and the Deluxe edition represents the most iconic colorway of the model.
