Lin Zhipeng (aka No.223) was born in Guangdong, China in 1979. Lin’s works have been the object of several solo exhibitions both in China and Internationally and he is considered a leading figure of new Chinese photography emerging in the last decade.
His photographs act as a collective not-so-private diary of a young generation wishing to escape the pressures from a high-stakes society and play within its limits.
It is the first time that a work from this artist is presented at auction.
