The figure depicts the Tibetan consort of the Indian master Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava stands with a skull cup (kapala) in her left hand and a mirror (melong) or sun disk (surya) on a lotus flower held in her right. Her elaborate coiffure is adorned with an inset pearl, and the earrings with turquoise. She wears heavy beaded necklaces, a long Tibetan dress with bodice and boots, and stands on a lotus pedestal inscribed with her name. The sealing plate beneath is incised with a crossed sceptre design (visvavajra) and is likely undisturbed.
