3½ by 3 by 4 inches (8.9 x 7.6 x 10.2 cm). Custom lucite base.
A sky-blue hemimorphite specimen consisting of thousands of small crystals formed upon a limonite matrix. Many of the crystals are grouped together in radial-like sprays.
A mineral often derived from zinc and lead ores, hemimorphite is a hydrated zinc silicate that gets its name from the unusual crystalline form that terminates in dissimilar faces.
