A specimen of robins-egg blue chrysocolla, with a coating of clear chalcedony.
The chrysocolla—a blue-green mineral with high copper content—is coated in clear chalcedony, resulting in a vivid blue sea of densely saturated hues. The specimen offered here is among the most recognizable mineral specimens from the Ray Mine locality.
