Although the binding seems to be French, it is not impossible that it could be a Nuremberg binding, given the provenance.

Ludwig Camerarius (1573-1651, statesman and lawyer from Nuremberg), a gift from [his father] Joachim Camerarius (1534-1598), doctor of Nuremberg, in 1591, inscription pasted to inside front cover (somewhat worn and rubbed); Loverdos Collection, library stamp to rear pastedown
