folio (336 x 213mm.), woodcut Estienne device on title-page, woodcut initials, contemporary (French?) calf gilt, edges gilt and gauffered, lower margin of title-page renewed, small hole in title-page, damp-staining throughout, wormhole in gutter, rebacked and corners repaired, later endpapers
Although the binding seems to be French, it is not impossible that it could be a Nuremberg binding, given the provenance.
