First introduced in 2010 and produced until 2018, the Patek Philippe reference 5170 replaced its predecessor reference 5070, continuing the legacy of a manually wound, two-register chronograph wristwatch. With high collectability, the present watch houses the very first in-house, manual wound chronograph movement by the Swiss manufacturer.
The first series (2010 - 2013), such as the present lot, were only made in yellow gold and are differentiated by their Roman and baton indexes and their pulsometer scale on the periphery of the dial. It pays homage to the popularity of these doctor watches being utilized to save lives in the past.
Presented in attractive condition and accompanied by its original accessories, this example would be an exciting addition to the collection of a discerning collector.
