Description
Playing Cards — "The Horrid Popish Plot"
52 playing cards. Engravings on paper, with grey patterned versos; a few minor spots, creases, areas of surface abrasion, and edgewear, the ace of hearts, two of diamonds, and ten of hearts are slightly more toned than the rest of the deck, with surface loss to the upper corner of the the king of clubs, the suit infilled in ink. 12 cards are mounted in a frame, the rest are housed in a folder attached to the back of the frame.
