Introduced in 2007 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Aquanaut, reference 5167A represents a refined evolution of the model, thoughtfully updated for contemporary tastes. Most notably, the case was enlarged to 40.8 mm, while the dial was streamlined with more restrained embossing and subtly curved lines, harmonizing beautifully with the signature rounded octagonal bezel. The date aperture was repositioned to 3 o’clock, replacing the hour marker and enhancing overall balance. Complementing the dial, the model was fitted with a newly developed rubber strap, offering improved texture and durability, secured by an elegant double folding clasp.
The present example is powered by the automatic caliber 324 SC, a movement that exemplifies Patek Philippe’s exceptional standards of finishing, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Offered by its original owner, this watch is presented in very good overall condition, and is accompanied by its Certificate of Origin dated November 2007, making it an early example from the year of the model’s release.
