The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph ref. 26238CD represents a striking contemporary evolution of the Offshore collection, combining the unmistakable architecture of the original 1993 “Beast” with the manufacture’s latest advances in ceramic craftsmanship. Rendered entirely in deep “Bleu Nuit” ceramic — a tone inspired by the iconic blue dial of the original Royal Oak ref. 5402 — the watch balances the Offshore’s inherently aggressive proportions with an unexpected sense of refinement and monochromatic cohesion. The 42mm case, matching integrated bracelet, and Méga Tapisserie dial create a seamless interplay of texture, light, and color that showcases Audemars Piguet’s exceptional mastery of finishing across one of the most technically challenging materials in modern watchmaking.
Powered by the self-winding calibre 4404, an integrated flyback chronograph movement visible through the sapphire display back, the reference combines contemporary performance with traditional haute horlogerie finishing. Since their introduction, ceramic members of the Royal Oak collection have become some of the hottest and most coveted within the collection, due to both their attractive colour and scratch-resistant finishing which is notoriously hard to work with.
