Although the first examples of the Rolex 'Bubbleback' were discovered in 1918, it was not until the 1930s that Rolex had incorporated the model with their first automatic movement. This particular version with yellow gold case from circa 1938 has a black Rolex and Beyer double-signed dial which makes it highly collectible.
