Patek Philippe launched the reference 5130 in 2006 to replace the 5110. It features a Calatrava styled case and inherits the ring-shaped hour hand design from earlier world time watches. The outer ring displays the names of 24 cities representing different time zones, while the inner ring shows the hours. Pressing the pusher at 10 o'clock advances the local time by one hour and shifts the city of reference, allowing the user to easily adjust the local time while tracking a different time zone.
The present example is crafted in the most noble of metals, preserved with box and paper and is from the original owner.
