An Italian Silver Book Binding, 18th Century


each cover embossed with a panel of scrolling foliage topped by a coronet and enclosing armorials, also with chased leaf-tip borders, matching spine, with one openwork clasp, now fitted with a blank book with gilt edges, unmarked except for Austrian control mark in use 1809-10
