silver engine-turned dial, repeated secret numbered signature Breguet No. 4678 between 11 and 1 o'clock, eccentric satin finished chapters with black Roman numerals and outer pearled minute ring, chapters with crémaillère borders, off-set dial centre with damier guilloché pattern, arc-form aperture for regulation against a blued steel plate, dial edge à grains d’orge, angled cartouche signed Breguet above 12 o’clock, gold Breguet hands

 

20ct gold Tavernier case engine-turned à grains d’orge, bayonet fitted back with securing screw beneath front bezel, case back interior numbered B 4678 and T 4149 with Paris assay Pegasus 2 in irregular hexagonal frame (840/1000, 1819-1838), MAB beneath a triangle in lozenge cartouche for Tavernier workshop, pendant front with Paris ox head assay mark (1822-1838)
