folio (314 x 207mm.), woodcut printer's device beneath colophon, old limp wallet-style vellum, pink alum-tawed sewing supports, title lettered along foot of textblock, later paper and vellum endleaves, occasional light foxing, lacking central tie across flap, binding somewhat soiled with small hole in lower cover


A tall copy with some deckle edges. The text of Varro is annotated throughout in a neat near-contemporary hand, including a description of the text lacking between quires N and O. Some copies also contain an additional printed sheet inserted after N6 to supply the omitted text (not present in this copy).
