oval, all sides decorated with trophies of love, flower garlands and geometrical ornaments in dark blue basse-taille enamel, on a hatched and reeded gold ground, remnants of a Hanau maker's mark within leaves, post-1918 French control marks, the rim later struck with a prestige mark resembling a Paris maker's mark in a horizontal lozenge
