tin-glazed earthenware (maiolica)
diameter: 11 in.; 28 cm.
painted with a procession of boys and one putto holding rods, lanterns and an axe, two riding a fantastic quadruped or griffin, brick structure to the left, the background painted in dark blue, a twisted rope motif at the edge of the border, the reverse vari-coloured concentric circles.
