Comprising: a bangle decorated with an engraved spray of lily-of-the-valley highlighted with seed pearls and rose diamonds, inner circumference approximately 155mm, maker's mark for Mellerio dits Meller, French assay marks for gold, fitted case stamped Mellerio dits Meller; a pendant decorated with a polychromous micro-mosaic scarab, on a gold mesh chain, length approximately 400mm, maker's mark for Mellerio dits Meller, French import mark for gold; and a brooch/pendant designed as a beetle centering a grey blister pearl, framed by rose diamonds, accented by cushion-shaped rubies, French import mark for gold; each unsigned.
Spectaculaire Second Empire, Musée d'Orsay, Paris, 2016-2017, where the scarab brooch/pendant and the micro-mosaic pendant were exhibited, items 108 and 116, pg. 130 in the catalogue.
