Designed as an openwork, textured gold Greek baptismal cross, signed Cartier and J Schwabe, numbered.
Between 1961 and 1966, the American sculptor Mark Eliot Schwabe apprenticed under his father goldsmith James Schwabe whose principal customer was Cartier New York.
