A Worcester (Flight, Barr and Barr) Green-Ground Crested Part-Dessert Service, Circa 1815


painted in black monochrome with the Waldy family crest of a rampant lion, it's right paw supported by a small Greek cross, under a ribbon inscribed with the motto FIDELIS, the green borders edged with gilt-scrollwork,  

comprising:

a two-handled sauce tureen and cover, height 7 in., 18 cm;

three lozenge-shaped dishes, width 12 1/2 in., 31.8 cm;

a footed compote, width 12 1/4 in., 31.2 cm;

and six dessert plates, width 9 in., 23 cm,

impressed crowned FBB marks, script titles in red referring to Coventry Street address. 12 pieces.
