the richly patinated russet iron bowl of momonari form with central raised flange, russet iron peak with engraved copper fukurin, the reverse in gold lacquered leather, black lacquer turnbacks with applied copper yotsume mon ['four eyes' crest], three-tiered black lacquer neck guard laced with close-spaced lacing in dark blue braid, leather and linen lining, the associated russet iron ressei mempo [face mask with fierce expression] forged with deep wrinkles and open mouth, detachable nose plate, red lacquer interior, two-tiered black lacquer neck guard with spaced lacing in dark blue braid
