Ink and watercolor on paper (16 3/4 x 22 3/4 in. sight) matted, glazed, and framed to 24 x 30 in., signed "Bemelmans" lower right, with the artist's "Bemelmans | Madeline" stamp in the lower right corner numbered 130 and titled in pencil "Sketches for Madeline in London"; not examined out of frame, a bit of fingersoiling to lower right.


Madeline in London was the final book in the series published in Bemelmans lifetime.
