Description

12¼-inch dial with pewter chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial numbered for every minute and second (now converted to a regulation dial), the dial centre and surround embossed and chased with a bird, serpents and flowers on a matted ground, the later associated English fusee movement with anchor escapement, rise and fall regulation and striking on a bell, the altered trunk decorated in Chinese style with a trellis pattern, the rear of the case with Percy Webster ivorine plaque,
