the watch with 2-inch enamel cartouche dial, the centre-wound fusee movement with verge and balance escapement, Egyptian pillars, the backplate mounted with a finely pierced and engraved balance cock and signed Masurier A Paris, the consular case engraved to the rear with a scene of Diana and her hound surrounded by foliate scrolls; the watch stand of waisted form and with a hinged top, inlaid with stylised scrolls and with applied mounts,
