Moon Imports is the passion project of Pepi Mongiardino, who

started his whisky journey as the Italian importer for Bruichladdich,

and later for Tamnavulin and Tullibardine. Pepi started bottling

his own whiskies in 1982 after being inspired to do so by Silvano

Samaroli. The initial Moon Import expressions were designed using

images from an 18th Century German encyclopaedia.
