A MEISSEN TWO-HANDLED ECUELLE, COVER AND STAND CIRCA 1735


the écuelle affixed with two scroll handles and the cover surmounted with a dragon finial, painted with Kakiemon flowers within iron-red and yellow flowerhead and foliate bands at the rims, the center of the stand painted with a phoenix, the underside with three iron-red flower sprigs, crossed swords marks in underglaze- blue. 

Diameter of stand: 7¼ in.
