TWO MEISSEN IMARI TEABOWLS AND SAUCERS AND A SIMILAR TEABOWL CIRCA 1735-40
each painted in underglaze-blue with slightly varying scenes of a vase of flowers beside a garden fence, embellished in enamels, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, one teabowl and saucer with impressed Dreher's marks of an asterisk for Gottfried Benjamin Bergmann (Rückert, 1990, p. 102), the other teabowl and saucer with impressed numeral 2 and underglaze-blue painter's mark to inside edge of footrims, the single teabowl with an impressed quartered circle and numeral 2.
