painted in a famille-rose palette heightened in gilding, the saucer decorated in the center with a shaped panel painted with European figures in a landscape with European- and Chinese-inspired architecture, within a gilt scrollwork border on the rim, the teabowl similarly decorated with an additional scene on the reverse.

Both in overall good condition with light surface wear and firing and potting imperfections, including a 1.3 by 0.3 cm unglazed section to the interior of the teabowl, and a small dent to the rim, both original to the firing.
