This lot is sold with a certificate of authenticity from the Comité Giacometti and is recorded in the database of the Fondation Giacometti, the Alberto Giacometti Database, under the number AGD 4777.

Our model, a rare version recognizable by its narrow base and elongated body, was produced only from 1933 to 1939, whereas a second, more common version of this model was cast until the 1980s.
