In 2024 and from magnum, an incredibly exotic nose, all Cairo spice bazaar, then Scottish Highland heather! The sheer opulence on the palate stops you in its tracks - pour into a large glass to get the full impact. The juiciness of the fruit is astonishing, with blackcurrants to the fore. The luscious liquorice finish is all-enveloping and totally memorable, the glycerol mouth-coating and the beauty non negotiable. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
