Folio (297 x 202 mm). Greek and Roman type, 54 lines plus headline. collation: π2 α-ψ8 ω6: 192 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso. (Stray spots.) 


binding: Eighteenth-century French tan calf (305 x 215 mm), covers ruled in gilt, spine with raised bands in seven compartments, second compartment with tan morocco lettering piece, others with repeat gilt motif, edges stained red. (Joints weak with upper cover barley holding, damage to head- and tail-bands, rubbed.)
