This rare early Heuer chronograph has an attractive dial typical of its production period. It has three big eye engine-turned subsidiary dials, oversized luminescent indexes. The center of the dial has a snail tachymeter sale. The outer track for the chronograph seconds as well as the subsidiary dials have contrasting tone to the main plate. All these distinctive features participate to the readability of this utilitarian timepiece while providing it an incredible character and appeal.
The watch has the perfect dimensions with a 36mm case that has been very well preserved. It further features the collectors favorite pump pushers for the chronograph, as opposed to the more frequently seen olive pushers.
It is powered by the reliable Valjoux 71, typical of that production.
