The iconic "Blue Marble" photograph of the Earth, taken on December 7, 1972, from CSM America. The image was captured by the crew whilst en route to the Moon, and at a distance of about 18,000 miles. Africa, Antarctica, and the Arabian Peninsula are visible in this incredible image.
