1¾-inch dial with central alarm disc, the rear with strike indication dial, the steel posted movement with verge and balance escapement, fusees with lipped barrels, locking plate striking on the top-mounted bell, the case with pierced bell dome surmounted by a robed figure, above turned finials, the sides engraved with strapwork and scenes representing the four seasons, each titled in Latin, the base on paw feet
