6¼-inch chapter ring, the dial plate engraved with tulips and with central alarm disc, the conventional; posted movement with verge and balance escapement, external locking oplate striking on the top-mounted bell, the alarm mounted on the iron back and also acting on the bell, the conventional posted case with urn finials and dolphin frets, the front fret signed Samuell Davis in Lothbury, Fecit, ball feet, iron hoop and spurs; together with a modern oak wall bracket
