Provenance:
A rare and legendary bottle of Cognac Ritz 1834 direct from the cellar of the Ritz Hotel in Paris.
The Ritz Paris has always been famous for its own stock of Cognac, served to guests who were deemed worthy.
This 1834 vintage cognac was selected and bought by Cesar Ritz himself when the Ritz opened in 1898. The rare Cognac was bottled by the house of Rémy Martin with their logo, The Centaur, appearing on each cork.
The 1834 is still being used to make one of the most expensive cocktails in the world, The Ritz Sidecar, only served at the Hotel's legendary Hemingway Bar.
Grande Fine Champagne 1834 Ritz Cognac was only sold by the glass, with only the most esteemed guests, as an exception, allowed to purchase a limited number of bottles each year.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase this liquid legend.
