of slightly baluster tapering form, the front and reverse richly chased with classical allegorical figures, including Artemis, within scrolling architectural foliage and above resting sheep, the sides chased with allegories of music and harvest within grapes and floral foliage, the hinged lid revealing the interior, fitted with implements including ivory memorandum slips, steel scissors and a folding knife, in velvet-lined fitted fishskin case,
