Gifted by the Artist to Denis Mitchell, and thence by descent to the present owner
Whilst Denis Mitchell was residing in St. Ives with his family, Roger Hilton would often visit. This work by Hilton was given by the artist to Denis and was always hung in the long room at the Mitchell's home La Pietra above a non-functioning grand piano.
