Arguably one of the most iconic and important Nike Air Max sneakers of the era, the three-way collaboration between Nike, iconic Dutch streetwear brand Patta, and renowned artist and designer Piet Parra was an instant classic.
In a celebration of Patta's Fifth Anniversary in 2009 a collection of four collaborative Nike Air Max 1 models were unveiled. Following the releases of the already hyped Chlorophyll, Purple Denim, Corduroy, and Lucky Green colorways, a fifth more mythical pair started circulating. Teased through images and often being mistaken for a friends and family rendition or a sample, the Nike Air Max 1 Parra Patta Cherrywood was released in extremely limited quantities in 2010.
Clad in a rich burgundy suede, and adorned with asymmetric Swooshes in burgundy and blue, the Patta by Parra swiftly emerged as one of the most coveted designs within the Air Max lineage. The satin sockliner and tri-branded insoles further add desirability to this unique collaboration.
This pair also comes with a Nike, Parra, and Patta co-branded tote-bag from the release.
