Following the success of the original GMT Master the Ref 6542 launched in 1954, Rolex introduced its successor, reference 1675 in 1960 - remaining in production until 1980. Initially available in gold or steel and gold, the 18k gold variants were made in considerably smaller production numbers than it’s steel and bi metal brethren.
Reference 1675 in gold was the only sport model originally offered with options for the bracelet. The present example features the highly sought after Oyster bracelet, and remains in very good overall condition.
