With multiple gem and paste settings decorating the gilt copper dome (anda) and plinth of the stupa, a white metal arch (torana) framing a niche in the dome, a miniature painting of Buddha within, a spire formed of eleven umbrellas (chatra) rising above a square step (harmika) inset with turquoise, and a canopy above supporting the sun and moon symbol and a jewel finial.
