A LARGE PAIR OF JAPANESE CLOISONNÉ DISHES, MEIJI PERIOD, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each of shallow form on ring foot decorated in various thicknesses of wire and coloured cloisonné enamels with a central roundel depicting red capped cranes flying above a profusion of flowers and foliage including peonies, the rim with dragons and ho-ho birds, the reverse with wire scrollwork in a blue ground.
