Etienne Meunier (maître c.1732) is recorded as having an atelier on the Rue de Cléry until the 1770's. Similar examples were sold Christie's New York, 27 May 1999, lot 305, 24 May 2000, lot 376 and 21 May 2003, lot 23, all stamped Meunier.
