4to (224 x 160 mm). Roman type. 60 leaves. Engraved title with architectural border, 12 sectional titles within engraved borders with medallion portraits, 62 full-page engraved illustrations, final leaf with printer’s device (otherwise blank). (Flyleaf defective, title slightly wormed at head.)
binding: Contemporary Austrian/Bohemian limp green vellum (232 x 162 mm), rear flyleaf with watermark of a P surmounted by a shield containing a cross (similar to Briquet 8792-8799, all Austria-Bohemia, 1530s-1590s). (Binding somewhat worn with a few tears to spine.)
