in neoclassical style, embossed with lions holding crown above the Hands of Cohen, central doored compartment engraved with foliage and enclosing Torah with Star of David, a lit menorah and birds centered by decorated columns, the lower edge with a border with Hebrew inscription from 1913, marked above menorah

Jan Pogorzelski was a major supplier of Judaica in Warsaw from the mid to the late 19th century.


At the base: “This silver diadem and this pointer were donated by Mr. Aaron Isaac ben Phinehas ha-Kohen, together with his wife Ethel Leah, in the year [5]673 [1913].”
