Reference 4700, also known as the 'ladies' Nautilus, was introduced in 1981 and stayed in production until 2004. It was made in plenty of different metal and dial combinations, including stainless steel, yellow gold, and a combination of the two such as the present lot which is equipped with an attractive white ribbed dial and applied Roman numerals.

Having been enjoyed and cared for by its previous owner, the watch has been regularly serviced by Patek Philippe, most recently in 2017. All invoices are accompanying the lot, as well as the Certificate of Origin from 1986 when the watch was bought in Andorra La Vella, and its presentation case with outer packaging.
