Bifolium (402 x 563mm.), hand-coloured woodcut map, Latin text on verso with hand-coloured initial


Second impression of the first woodcut printed map of Arabia. For this impression, the woodcut blocks from the 1486 Ulm Ptolemy were reused, but the two variants can be distinguished by the addition of a printed title in the upper margin, not present on first impression copies.
