Hans Albert Peters (1937 - 2014) was a German art historian who served as director of the Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf from 1979 to 1995. He co-authored the exhibition catalogue on Gotthard Graubner for the artist’s representation of the Federal Republic of Germany at the 1982 Fifth Triennale-India, New Delhi. During the 1980s and 1990s, Peters travelled extensively in India, collecting art and establishing connections with local artists.
