Description

in the form of a sandaled foot with leaf-shaped ring-handle plate, fluted funnel, and suspension chain, ivy leaves falling over the heel on either side of the handle, the lid surmounted by a seated figure of sleeping Eros, the nails, leaves and other details with remains of silver overlay.
