Gianni Fedeli Collection, Milan (by 1976).

A. Mottola Molfino, L'arte della porcellana in Italia, Il Veneto E La Toscana, vol. I, Busto Arsizio 1976, tavs. 40/41;

L. Melegati, Giovanni Vezzi e le sue porcellane, Milan 1998, p. 186, cited.

Melegati, op. cit., illustrates a second coffee cup featuring this highly unusual motif of spider webs, and notes that he was aware of only two other pieces of Vezzi porcelain with this rare type of decoration, the present coffee cup, and another which had recently been on the art market at the time of his publication.
